COVID-19 POLICY

  • Hamilton Dance Academy has published a COVID-19 Risk Assessment and Action Plan on the website, it has also been emailed to parents/guardians.

  • The document includes safety measures and procedures put in place to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 in the school.

  • The procedures detailed in the Risk Assessment and Action Plan must be followed by all staff, students and parents/guardians

  • If classes cannot take place in the studio, they will be delivered via an online Zoom Meeting. 


    PRIVACY POLICY

  • Hamilton Dance Academy has a responsibility to protect the data you have provided us with. Your personal data will only be stored by the Principal whilst your child is enrolled with us. We follow the current guidelines set out by The Data Protection Act 2018, which is the UK’s implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

    SAFEGUARDING & CHILD PROTECTION POLICY

  • Hamilton Dance Academy has a duty of care to promote the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, to keep them safe and practise in a way that protects them.

  • Hamilton Dance Academy is a safe environment, we listen to and respect our students.

  • The class teacher will always ask for the student’s consent before using physical contact to demonstrate movements, correct faults or prevent injury during the class.

  • The Principal has undertaken a Level 2 Safeguarding course focusing on safeguarding young people.

  • All staff are DBS checked.

  • If Hamilton Dance Academy has a concern about a child’s welfare, we will follow the appropriate safeguarding and child protection procedures by contacting the Surrey County Council Duty Lead Authority Designated Officer who will advise our next step.

  • In emergency cases we may contact the police.
